I sought out counselling after reaching a monumental birthday, having wrestled with disappointment and frustration for years. I found Sue on the ACC website as I wanted to have someone who understood my faith and how important it is to me yet also someone who understands the difficulties some of the Christian narratives can pose.
Sue has been an invaluable support for me these past several years, and my ability to cope and manage has grown immensely in that time. Her gentle and kind approach was just what I needed after wrestling with a lifetime of perfectionism and a fear of failure. She provided keen insight into my difficulties, helping me build my self-awareness and approach myself with gentleness.
Whilst also a counsellor myself, I’ve learned immensely from Sue’s approach and appreciate her impeccable professional manner. I have nothing but respect for this lovely lady who has an amazing gift to provide support and gentle guidance that has opened a whole new world to me. She’s truly been a gift of healing to me that I will always treasure.
